Government College of Engineering Srirangam, Trichy was started during the year 2013 and is located on a 10+ acres site. This was the Tenth state owned Government Engineering College in Tamil Nadu. The first batch of students was selected for the academic year 2013-2014 for courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. All the departments have well qualified faculty members and excellent infrastructure facilities. GCE Srirangam, Trichy is recognized as a Research Centre for all the departments by Anna University, Chennai. GCE Srirangam, Trichy has excellent computer facilities with Internet Connectivity in all the departments.
